Ask a restaurant owner or decision-maker if they would like to learn about MenuRate. Share your referral code so the introduction can be attributed to you.
MenuRate offers a 14-day free trial. Alex or a salesperson can explain the service and help the owner decide whether it fits their restaurant.
Earn 20% of the first paid month for your qualifying referral. A trial signup alone does not earn a commission. Want to handle sales too? There is a separate recurring commission.
A one-time commission on its first paid month. Make the introduction and let the sales team take it from there.
$16 on an $80 basic plan.Earn an additional 20% on each collected monthly payment for the service you sell. Refer and close: 40% in month one, then 20% monthly.
$32 initially, then $16/month on basic.Earn $35 once for completing account setup and handoff. This is per account, not per package.
Basic + referral + sale + setup = $67 initially. The same 20% referral / 20% sales structure applies to qualifying additional packages you help bring in. These examples treat the $600 package as an additional monthly service.
| Customer purchase | Referral only · once | Refer + sell · first month | Sales · following months |
|---|---|---|---|
| $80 basic plan | $16 | $32 | $16/month |
| $600 additional package | $120 | $240 | $120/month |
| Both · $680/month | $136 | $272 | $136/month |
Setup is separate: add $35 once if you complete activation. Recurring commissions require continued customer payments. One-time services generate one-time commissions.
The National Restaurant Association reports more than 1 million U.S. restaurant and foodservice outlets. This includes a broader foodservice market—not exclusively standalone restaurants, and not all are eligible prospects.

Using a rounded one-million-outlet baseline, here is the arithmetic if 5,000 of your referrals became paying customers:
| What every account buys | Referral commission each | Total one-time commissions |
|---|---|---|
| $80 basic | $16 | $80,000 |
| $600 additional package | $120 | $600,000 |
| Both · $680 | $136 | $680,000 |
This is large-scale arithmetic, not a typical result or income forecast. Five thousand paying accounts would require substantial reach, time, and successful conversion. Sending 5,000 leads would not produce these totals unless all 5,000 purchased the illustrated services. No timeframe or conversion rate is assumed. Figures are gross commissions before your expenses and taxes.
You do not need thousands of accounts to make your first commission. Try 1, 5, or 10 paying referrals below.
10 paying accounts × $80 × 20%

Your interest in food can become the starting point for a conversation with an owner. You can focus on introductions without taking on the sales role.
If you know restaurant owners through your work or community, you can introduce a tool that helps them listen to customers—and earn when it becomes a good fit.
Learn the product, demonstrate its value, and close accounts. Recurring sales commissions can build over time while those clients continue paying.
Restaurant owners get a chance to hear more customer feedback and act on it. Diners get a convenient way to share their experience. Affiliates get a clear reward for bringing the right people together.

No. You can focus on making a qualified introduction. To earn the additional recurring sales commission, you must handle the sales process and close the purchase—not simply mention the app.
Once a qualifying referred customer makes a paid purchase. The 14-day trial itself does not create earnings. Confirm referral attribution, eligible services, refund handling, and the payout schedule with Alex before starting; these operational details are being finalized.
That is Alex’s goal: help motivated affiliates develop their skills and grow with the business. Future leadership or paid positions depend on performance and business needs. A job, hourly pay, and promotion are not guaranteed by joining.
